What a beautiful and meaningful experience it was with Donna Stuart as she guided us through the “Growing Years.” Each season—the seed, the root, the rise, the sprout, the stand, the release, and the return—so thoughtfully reflected the different stages of motherhood and raising our children. I was deeply encouraged by her creativity, her heartfelt expression, and the genuine love she has for the life God has given us. The evening closed with a sweet time of praise and worship, lifting our voices to the Lord together. It was truly a rich and memorable event—one that engaged the heart, mind, and spirit.

Donna’s gift of creativity paired with her spiritual wisdom and depth shines in “Growing.” As a mom of two toddler boys, it can be difficult to find time to reflect. Donna’s ability to take deep spiritual truths and make them applicable and thought provoking in this season was incredibly encouraging. She was able to weave the everyday moments I feel as a young mom into the beautiful larger picture of how God is working through it all. Now every time I see a tree, not only am I encouraged that God can make something beautiful out of the anonymous and small moments, but it’s something I can tangibly teach my boys about who God is and His love for them.

Donna Stuart is a gifted writer and illustrator. I love that my grandchildren and myself have so enjoyed her GROWING book. It’s for young and old. Ok, I’m the “old”, but God is still using me and showing me His goodness through every season of my life. At my age, and in my retirement season, I have had that front row seat to watch THE PLANTER & HIS Grace. Being anchored in His love and producing the fruit that He had written for me long before I was born. I too can dance with Grace upon the wind.
